H1N1 Information

From the EPA:

On October 22, 2009, EPA published guidance on labeling options for Pandemic 2009 H1N1 Influenza virus A for the disinfection of hard, nonporous surfaces.  EPA indicated that currently registered disinfectant products that bear label claims for effectiveness against influenza A viruses (human or animal) will be effective against all influenza A viruses, including Pandemic 2009 H1N1.  There will be no need for generation of additional data.  EPA will allow any formulation with proven efficacy against influenza A virus to make efficacy claims against Pandemic H1N1 influenza A virus.
